The CCC has a disability specialist on staff whose job it is to walk clients through the application process. You may contact her by email, or calling our office.
… find a specialist who will see you?
Project Access is a part of the CapitalCare Collaborative's (CCC) network that helps people without insurance see specialists. You must have a referral from a primary care physician first, before you may see a specialist.
… talk to a community case manager?
CCC has two community case managers who work with uninsured clients referred from Wake County hospitals and clinics. Call our office at 919.792.3624 to make an appointment with a case manager.
… see if you may be eligible for services is Wake County?
You may enter your household, income and other information into our Eligibility Calculator (click the GUEST button on the web page) to determine whether you could potentially qualify for Medicaid, Veterans or other benefits. Results are subject to verification by a community case manager or eligibility worker, and subject to State and Federal rules governing those programs.
